GRETNA – Capital One is seeking to collect more than $2,000 in debt for a credit card account.
Capital One Bank filed a suit against Steve Morris III, a Jefferson Parish resident, in the 24th Judicial District Court on Dec. 12, 2016.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off a balance of more than $2,800.
The defendant is accused of an open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Remy Symons of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.
