American Express alleges Orleans Parish resident owes $31,000

NEW ORLEANS – American Express is seeking more than $31,000 from an Orleans Parish resident.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit against Xenia Roff in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off a balance of more than $31,000. The defendant is accused of having open account with the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
