Financial company charges breach of contract

NEW ORLEANS – A financial company is seeking damages, alleging breach of contract.

Ally Financial Inc. filed a suit against Carolyn Phillips and Richard A. Phillips Jr. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Dec. 16.

According to the claim, Ally Financial is the holder of a retail installment sale contract that was signed by the defendants. The suit states the defendants breached contract through failing to pay nearly $25,000 as agreed in the contract.

Ally Financial seeks payment of $24,896.63 and other court costs. It is represented by attorney Edward F. Bukaty III.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-12276.
