Arizona Federal Credit Union alleges customer owes nearly $28,000

NEW ORLEANS – A credit union is suing an Orleans Parish woman, alleging the customer is behind on her payments by nearly $28,000.

The Arizona Federal Credit Union filed a lawsuit Dec. 1 against Alicia K. Diggs in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging failure to pay in a timely manner. 

According to the complaint, the credit union is owed $14,225.43 from Diggs, plus interest. With the applied credits and interest, the defendant is indebted to the plaintiff for $27,606.47, the suit says.

Arizona Credit Union seeks $27,696.47, plus interest in damages. It is represented by attorney Mark A. Kikorsky of Blackstad, Hrabe & Kikorsky LLC of Mesa.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-11790.
