Ford seeks more than $19,000 for unpaid truck lease

GRETNA -- Ford is suing a truck customer, alleging failure to pay more than $19,000 for a leased vehicle.

Ford Motor Credit Company LLC filed a suit Jan. 6 against Phillip L. Dupre Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay for a leased truck.

According to the claim, Ford owns a retail installment contract that was executed by Dupree The suit states Dupre was required to make regular payments on the 2013 Ford F150 that he was driving.

The defendant, however, has failed to pay what was required and is still indebted to Ford for $19,139.23, plus interest, the suit states.

Ford Motor Credit sums due plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Keith M. Frey of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767974.
