American Express alleges customer owes nearly $4,000

GRETNA – American Express is suing a credit card customer, alleging failure to pay nearly $4,000.

American Express Centurion filed a suit Jan. 4 against Rita Cazaubon in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, American Express issued a credit card to Cazaubon who has failed to keep up with payments and still owes $3,855.92.

American Express Centurion seeks the missing funds, attorney fees, court costs and all equitable relief. It is represented by attorney Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
