Bank of America alleges customer owes more than $15,000

GRETNA – Bank of America is suing a Jefferson Parish customer, alleging she owes more than $15,000.

Bank of America NA filed a suit Jan 18 against Joann Jones Varnado in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, Bank of America issued a credit account to Varnado who has failed to pay off the account and maintains a debt of $15,133.38.

Bank of America seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs.The plaintiff is represented by attorneys from Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768266.
