Waste Management of Louisiana alleges Gates on Manhattan failed to pay for services

GRETNA – A waste management company is seeking damages for unpaid work.

Waste Management of Louisiana LLC filed a suit against Gates on Manhattan LP in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff provided services to the defendant at a price that had been previously agreed upon. The suit states that despite sending invoices to the defendant, the plaintiff has never been paid. The defendant allegedly owes $16,128.61 but that the plaintiff is truly entitled to $38,253.25 for damages, according to the complaint.

The defendant is accused of having open account against the plaintiff, unjust enrichment and breach of contract.

Waste Management of Louisiana is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by Benjamin D. Jones of Ottinger Hebert LLC in Lafayette.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768319.
