Louisiana Community and Technical College System alleges student owes nearly $2,000

GRETNA – A community college claims that a student never paid.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Nunez Community College filed a suit against Eran B. Hawkins in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the defendant is a resident of the Jefferson Parish. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off an account for the fall 2012 semester and is still indebted for $1,815.80 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
