Mortgage company alleges customer owes more than $170,000

GRETNA – A mortgage company is suing a customer, alleging he owes more than $170,000.

Nationstar Mortgage LLC filed a lawsuit Jan. 30 against Reginald L. Hudson, also known as Reginal Hudson in 24th Judicial District Court alleging failure to pay off sums due.

According to the claim, Nationstar is the holder of a promissory note that was issued by Hudson. The suit states Hudson failed to pay off the principal sums of the note for $196,000, in the installments for which he was obligated. With interest and late fees, the defendant has owes $178,502.64, the lawsuit states.

Nationstar Mortgage seek all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Corey J. Giroir of The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr., Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768583.
