Capital One files suit over past-due credit card balance

GRETNA – Capital One is seeking damages from a credit card holder over an open account.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit Jan. 23 against Heather L. Blake in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant with the understanding that regular payments would be made on any balance accumulated. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $3,351.41.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Remy Symons of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768430.
