Staffing company claims Baker Ready Mix didn't pay for temporary workers

NEW ORLEANS – A Metairie staffing company is seeking more than $8,000 for unpaid services.

ASAP Employment Services Inc. filed a lawsuit Jan. 6 against Baker Ready Mix LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff began to supply temporary staffing to the defendant in June 2015. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for the labor and still owes a balance of $8,582.57.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael T. Tusa Jr. of Sutton, Alker & Rather LLC in Mandeville.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.

Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 17-161.
