Leasing company says Orleans Parish man owes $40,000 for Audi

NEW ORLEANS – A Volkswagen leasing company is seeking more than $40,000 in damages from an Orleans Parish man.

VW Credit Inc. filed a lawsuit Feb. 1 against Taylor Jones in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued a lease agreement to the defendant, who agreed to make regular payments on a lease for a 2017 Audi A4 SD. The suit states that the defendant has failed to keep up with the payments and is owes $40,024.99 to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of failing to keep up with lease payments.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Chris Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
