Ford alleges customers never paid for leased vehicle

GRETNA – Ford is suing two customers, alleging they have failed to pay more than $10,000 for a leased vehicle.

Ford Motor Credit Company LLC filed a lawsuit Feb. 2 against Johnny Williams Jr. and Hilda Williams in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due and failure to pay what is owed.

According to the claim, Ford Motor Credit allowed the Williamses to execute an retail installment contract. The suit states the defendants have failed to keep up with the payment terms of the agreement, and currently owe $10,072.76 plus interest on a 2011 Ford Focus.

Ford Motor Credit seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Keith M. Frey of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768770.
