GRETNA – A wood supply company is suing a deck construction business, alleging it owes more than $180,000.
Capital Forest Products filed a suit Jan. 12 against Sequoia Deck & Fence LLC in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, Capital Forest sold products to Sequoia Deck and Fence but the defendant has failed to pay for the services. The defendant is indebted to the plaintiff for $181,925.67 plus fees, the suit says.
Capital Forest Products seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is is represented by attorneys Edward F. Bukaty III, Warren W. Wingerter Jr. and Alexander D. Bukaty of Edward F. Bukaty III, a Professional Law Corporation in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
