Midland Funding seeks damages over Best Buy account

GRETNA – A funding company is seeking damages for an unpaid debt stemming from a Terrytown resident's Best Buy account.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Feb. 17 against Monica Calvin in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the defendant came to owe $1,251.51 on her Best Buy account and has failed to pay off the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton, J. Marron Monsour and Michael Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769278.
