NEW ORLEANS – A university is suing a former student, alleging he owes $2,000.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors, through the University of New Orleans, filed a lawsuit Feb. 21 against Dean Salvador Clark and Live Nation Entertainment as garnishee in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging, failure to pay what is owed.
According to the complaint, the university issued services to Clark that cost $2,000. The suit states the plaintiff has reason to believe Clark is owed money or is employed by the garnishee and seeks payment of all sums due, plus interest.
University of New Orleans seeks all sums due, court costs and all appropriate relief. It is represented by assistant attorney general Scott L. Smith of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
