Finance company alleges it is owed $10,000 in rent

NEW ORLEANS – A finance company is suing a tenant, alleging it is owed $10,00 in rent.

821 Washington Ave, LLC filed a lawsuit Feb. 23 against Belladoggie Inc. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging failing to pay the plaintiff what is owed and failing to vacate the premises.

According to the complaint, beginning in 2015, 821 Washington was landlord of the property that the defendant was leasing on a month-to-month basis. The suit states Belladoggie has failed to pay a balance of $2,500 for November and December 2016 and January and February 2017, totaling in $10,000 in debt.

The plaintiff is requesting that the defendant pay sums due and vacate the premises.

821 Washington seeks all sums due, reasonable damages, court costs and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorneys F. Joseph Drolla Jr, and R. Scott Buhrer of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Melvin Zeno.
