Credit union alleges customer owes more than $7,000

GRETNA – A credit union is suing a promissory note customer, alleging he owes more than $7,000.  

ASI Federal Credit Union filed a suit March 7 against Ronell Roach in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay sums due.

According to the claim, ASI is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $15,275.68. The suit states Roach, who executed the note for the payment of a 2007 Dodge Charger, has failed to pay off the balance of the note and still owes the plaintiff $7,121.26, plus interest and late fees.

ASI Federal Credit Union seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Jules A. Fontana III of Fontana & Fontana LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
