Bank of America alleges promissory note customers owe more than $126,000

GRETNA – Bank of America is suing two promissory note customers, alleging they owe more than $126,000.

Bank of America NA filed a suit March 6 against Eaisas Rodriguez and Melinda A. Gallet, also known as Melinda Gallet and Syble Gallet, in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due in failing to pay off a promissory note.

According to the claim, Bank of America is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $151,620, which was to be paid off in increments every month. The suit states the defendants have failed to pay off the balance and are still indebted to the plaintiff for $126,284.94, plus interest and late charges.

Bank of America seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Lindsay G. Faulkner of Shapiro & Daigrepont LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
