Bank claims overdue promissory note, seeks foreclosure

GRETNA – A bank is seeking damages for an unpaid mortgage note.

U.S. Bank National Association filed a suit March 13 against Shona Smith Goudy, also known as Shona S. Goudy and Shona Goudy, and Kenneth Ray Goudy, also known as Kenneth R. Goudy and Kenneth Goudy, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $89,294. The note was to be paid off in monthly installments, but the defendants allegedly failed to pay off the full balance and now owe $83,390.09 plus interest and other fees.

The defendants are accused of failing to pay off the note in the time required.

The plaintiff is seeking seizure of the mortgaged property, all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Corey Giroir of the Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769906.
