Home loan firm alleges overdue promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – A home loan company is suing a couple, alleging an unpaid note of nearly $200,000.

Caliber Home Loans Inc. filed a lawsuit March 15 against Tammy Delcambre Ducote and Perry Ducote in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due in failing to pay off a note.

According to the complaint, Caliber is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $208,150. The suit states the Ducotes have failed to pay off the balance and still owe $191,216.49, plus interest.

Caliber Home Loans seeks all sums due, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
