Larsen & Shane claims Ruba failed to pay for renovations to IHOP restaurants

GRETNA – A company is seeking damages for an open account.

Larsen & Shane LLC filed a suit March 23 against Ruba LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the defendant hired the plaintiff to make renovations for multiple IHOP restaurants throughout Metairie and New Orleans. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for the work that was completed, however, and is still indebted to the plaintiff for the balance of $69,471.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jason Cavignac of Couhig Partners LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770288.
