LVNV Funding claims Gretna woman owes money for bank card charges

GRETNA – A debt collector claims that a bank card was never paid off.

LVNV Funding LLC filed a suit March 29 against Sheila Rogers of Gretna in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the defendant was issued a bank card by Credit One Bank, which was used to make $2,361.10 in charges. The plaintiff is seeking payment of those charges.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay off the accumulated balance.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
