Capital One Bank claims Metairie resident owes more than $5,000

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking payment of credit card debt.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit March 20 against Alexander D. Tiria of Metairie in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated a balance of $5,614.87 on the card and failed to pay it off.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
