Masonry company claims Devier Enterprises owes money for work completed

NEW ORLEANS – A masonry company claims that it was never paid for the work it completed.

Southeastern Commercial Masonry Inc. filed a lawsuit against Devier Enterprises LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was subcontracted by the defendant to complete a job. The suit states that the plaintiff completed all of the work but the defendant failed to pay for it. The plaintiff is still owed $45,133.58 plus interest, according to the complaint.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and failure to pay in a timely manner.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Ashley B. Robinson of Shields Mott LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
