American Express is seeking damages from Jefferson Parish resident on open account

GRETNA – American Express Centurion Bank is seeking sums due on a credit card.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit April 4 against Andrea Houston of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant an American Express Gold Card. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off the balance owing of $37,496.13.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III, Warren W. Wingerter Jr., and Alexander D. Bukaty of Edward F. Bukaty III, A Professional Law Corporation in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770668.
