Capital One seeking over $2,000 from Jefferson Parish resident

GRETNA – Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. is seeking over $2,000 from a Jefferson Parish resident.

Capital One filed a suit April 17 against Carolyn G. Damper in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated a balance of $2,396.47 and failed to pay it off.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
