Orleans Parish woman claims she was attacked in a KFC by an employee

GRETNA – A woman was allegedly attacked in a Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Priscilla Green Fontenberry of Orleans Parish filed a suit April 19 against West Quality Food Service Inc., doing business as Kentucky Fried Chicken, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the KFC located at 1001 West Bank Expressway on April 24, 2016, when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff was attacked by an employee of the defendant.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to supervise or train employees, failing to protect the plaintiff and provide a safe environment for customers.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Sean P. Early of Klotz & Early in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 771153.
