IberiaBank claims Orleans Parish man failed to pay over $64,000

NEW ORLEANS – A bank is seeking damages for sums due on a note.

IberiaBank filed a lawsuit April 20 against Milton Robert Matthews of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due on a note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a sum that the defendant has failed to pay. The suit states that the defendant owes $64,064.68 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kreig A. Breaux of Landry, Watkins, Repaske & Breaux in New Iberia.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
