Fifth District Savings Bank claims Jefferson Parish man failed to pay off promissory note

GRETNA – A New Orleans bank is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note.

Fifth District Savings Bank filed a suit May 4 against Alfred L. Stamps Jr. of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of sums due on a promissory note. The suit states that the plaintiff owes $40,485.45 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on the promissory note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by George Pivach II and John E. Pivach of Pivach, Pivach, Hufft, Thriffley & Dunbar LLC in Belle Chasse.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
