Brother International Corp. claims that Bobbin Stop Sewing Shop owes over $20,000

GRETNA – A corporation is seeking over $20,000 from a sewing shop.

Brother International Corp. filed a suit May 25 against Bobbin Stop Sewing Shop LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff sold and/or delivered goods to the defendant which were allegedly never paid for. The suit states that the defendant is indebted to the plaintiff for $23,549.04.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay off the open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph W. Fick Jr. of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 772519.
