Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union claims man owes more than $25,000

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking damages for an open account.

Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union, formerly known as Jefferson Financial Credit Union, filed a suit May 22 against James Harold Johnson Jr. of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of the balance of $27,192.83, after the defendant failed to pay off installments owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert A. Contreras of D'Aquila, Contreras & Vega in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 772358.
