Man claims he suffered lasting injuries after being punched while at New Orleans property

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages after being punched by another man.

Raphael Cardoso De Morales filed a lawsuit May 18 against Damon P. Durham in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging assault.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was assaulted on May 22, 2016, at 227 Bourbon St., New Orleans. The suit states that the defendant, unprovoked, punched the plaintiff, causing him lasting injury.

The defendant is accused of violent assault.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael G. Raspanti in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
