Property owner seeking nearly $40,000 for rent on New Orleans property

NEW ORLEANS – A property owner is seeking damages for breach of contract.

Massiha Properties LLC filed a lawsuit June 1 against Delainey M. Bouie in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff allowed the defendant to be a tenant at the property of 3701 De Gaulle Drive, New Orleans. The suit states that the defendant has failed to keep up with rent payments and is indebted to the plaintiff for  $37,400.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Pedro F. Galeas of The Galeas Law Corporation in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Cherrell S. Taplin.
