GRETNA – American Express is seeking payment of sums due.
American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit June 9 against Danny Delarosa of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant, which was then used to make $5,256.99 in charges. The defendant has failed to pay off the balance.
The defendant is accused of having an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
