Capital One is seeking more than $2,700 from Jefferson Parish man

GRETNA – Capital One is seeking damages for sums due.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit June 9 against Clifton Gallin of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account on a credit card.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant, which was then used to make purchases totaling $2,762.66 and has failed to pay off the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
