NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was caused to trip and fall at a hotel garage.
Rose Kinsey filed a lawsuit June 2 against Hilton Worldwide & Sedwick Claims Management in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was at the defendant's property, Riverside Hilton, on June 3, 2016. According to the suit, the plaintiff tripped and fell in a poorly lit parking garage.
The defendant is accused of negligence by failing to provide a safe location for guests and overall negligence of management.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney James L. Oliver III of the Law Offices of James L Oliver III in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
