Jefferson Parish man allegedly failed to pay over $10,000 on American Express card

GRETNA – American Express is seeking payment of more than $10,000 from a Jefferson Parish man.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit June 9 against Jason O'Connor in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking full payment of an open account for the balance of $10,431.88.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffry M. Topefer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
