Baton Rouge Community College claims Orleans Parish resident owes nearly $2,000

NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking damages for an open account.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Baton Rouge Community College filed a lawsuit June 20 against Donnean Lynette Bolds of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account totaling $1,931.44 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott L. Smith of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
