First American Bank and Trust alleges it is owed over $10,000 across multiple accounts

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $10,000 from St. James Parish residents.

First American Bank and Trust filed a suit June 28 against Robert P. Tassin, doing business as ART Trucking, and Karen S. Tassin in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of sums due on several accounts for the balances of $1,445.24, $1,398.43, $1,269.28 and $5,958.99 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay what was owed to the plaintiff

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Mark C. Landry of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
