Southeastern Louisiana University seeking past due tuition

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking past due payments, claiming that an Orleans Parish man failed to pay his tuition.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Southeastern Louisiana University filed a lawsuit Nov. 3 against Wilnard J. Bell in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging he failed to pay off sums due in the amount of $1,362.04 plus interest. 

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. 

The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
