Liaison allegedly owes Kearney Companies more than $16,000

NEW ORLEANS – A logistics services company is seeking more than $16,000 for sums allegedly due.

Kearney Companies LLC filed a lawsuit on Nov. 1 against Liaison Canada/U.S. Logistics in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued an invoice of $5,248 to the defendant for transport and storage of materials on July 14. Another invoice for the balance of $10,820 was sent on Aug. 14. The defendant allegedly has failed to pay the plaintiff for either invoice. 

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Anton L. Hasenkampf of Leake & Anderson LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Cherrell S. Taplin.
