Jefferson Parish woman claims negligence in car crash

GRETNA — A Jefferson Parish woman claims that she was injured when a vehicle driven by an employee of an alarm company rear ended her vehicle.

Learnette W. Toney filed a suit on Oct. 23 against Technology Insurance Company Inc.; Central Monitoring Inc., doing business as Alarm Protection Services; and Brian Broussard in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, on Nov. 23, 2016 the plaintiff was driving on Highway 90 when the defendant rear-ended her car.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher H. Sherwood of the Law Offices of Warren A. Forstall Jr. LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
