Kenner police car allegedly hit woman's vehicle

GRETNA — A St. Charles Parish woman claims that her car was struck by a vehicle belonging to the Kenner Police Department.

Geraldine Noel filed a suit on Nov. 16 against Matthew Glapion and the City of Kenner in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Dec. 3, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff's car was struck by the defendant who was driving a police car.

The defendant is accused of negligence and reckless driving.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Frank J. D'Amico Jr. in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
