Woman allegedly injured at New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Company

GRETNA — A woman is seeking damages after allegedly slipping and falling in a Jefferson Parish restaurant.

Janis Lyles filed a suit on Dec. 5 against New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Company and State Farm Fire and Casualty Company in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was injured on Dec. 10, 2016 when she slipped and fell on a substance on the floor of the restaurant.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Ryan J. Hughes in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
