GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages, claiming she slipped and fell.
Cynthia Daigs filed a suit against Ace Cash Express Inc. and underwriters at Lloyd's of London in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
The plaintiff claims the defendants were negligent in maintaining the Ace Cash Express location at 624 Terry Parkway in Terrytown. The plaintiff claims she slipped and fell on June 21, 2016, due to a puddle of water on the floor, according to the suit.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Amanda B. Rizzo of The Keating Law Firm LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
