Woman claims she was caused to fall on city property

NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she tripped and fell.

Tandi Tate filed a lawsuit Dec. 19 against New Orleans Public Facility Management Inc., Greenwich Insurance Co., Freeman Expositions Inc, The Jud's Social Club Krewe of NOMTOC and Quickest Tradeshow Services Inc in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which took place Feb. 4, 2017. The suit states that the plaintiff tripped and fell on a portion of unstable flooring.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Carmen Liriano of Morris Bart LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney Cates.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2017-12163.
