GRETNA — A company claims that an employee used confidential information against them.

Guardian Computer LLC filed a suit on Dec. 28 against William MacQuinn and NOC Desk LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that it once employed the defendant, who was asked to sign a non-compete contract. The suit states that the defendant, after resigning from the position in July 2017, used saved documents in order to cause harm to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stephen K. Conroy of Conroy Law Firm LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
