GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a trip and fall in a TGI Friday's restaurant.
Charlene Apointe filed a suit Jan. 4 against Southeast Restaurant Group - Harvey LLC, dba TGIF, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Oct. 11, 2017. The suit states the plaintiff was caused injured when she tripped over a planter that had been left on the ground in an area that was not well lit.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Thomas A. Gennusa II of Gennusa, Piacun & Ruli in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
